Hobros Limited today launches a four-strong range of Speciality Himalayan Salts. These salts represent a natural, one-stop seasoning solution for a range of cooking needs, all using Himalayan Pink Salt combined with specific dried herbs and spices, without the addition of any preservatives, chemicals or additional flavour enhancers. Unlike commercial refined table salt which only contains a couple of minerals - sodium and perhaps added iodine - Himalayan Pink Salt contains at least 84 minerals, naturally occurring, with a composition of approximately only 87% sodium chloride. None of our Speciality Himalayan Salts contain anti-clumping chemicals.
All salts are suitable for vegans.
Lemony Herb – combining lemon peel, oregano, thyme and marjoram, this is ideal for poultry, white fish and salad dressings.
Umami Porcini – combining porcini, shiitake, oyster and boletus mushrooms with garlic, onion and celery. Ideal for where an abundance of savoury umami flavours is needed, such as roasted vegetables, risottos, sautéed potatoes or white meat.
Beetroot Orange – an outstanding solution for salad dressings. Beetroot, orange, lemon and select herbs combine to give a dazzling flavour profile.
Smokey Spanish – taking inspiration from Spain, this wonderful salt combines hot and sweet smoked paprika, peppers, onion and garlic with select herbs for the perfect seasoning of seafood, fish and poultry.
